DO YOU WANT TO UPDATE? Our phones nag us more than a needy boyfriend or girlfriend. Usually, I'd reccomend always opting out of updates whenever possible, and here are some recent reasons why.

4. Snapchat is Now Prioritizing Advertisements Over Your Friends Selfies and Cat Videos

At least it's not dick pics.

Snapchat is trying to make their content happen, despite the fact that the entire purpose of the app is to quickly and discreetly share personal content. The new update organizes promoted news stories to appear before your friends. CNN? No thank you. Moving onwards to close ups of my friends driving while snapchatting me Jimmy Eat World Songs please.

3. Every Flight In the United States Was Grounded as the Result of a Bad Software Update

The development of an automated software system in airlines which is used to store and organize reservation content led to an internal software error leaving all flights in the US grounded on July 8th.

2. Mozilla Firefox is Boycotting Adobe Flash Player

Adobe Flash Player, you know, that clingy red icon that always begs for you to pay attention to it and update it on what seems like an almost daily basis? Surprise! If you updated your Mozilla Firefox browser this week, your Adobe Flash Player will no longer work. But it's a good thing. Mozilla was just the first company to pull the plug on Flash as the result of its unscrupulous potential for hacking.
